A research specialist will present the evidence to date re pre-eclampsia including:
-identifying the risk factors for pre-eclampsia;
-laboratory investigations;
-best practice re antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum management.
Diabetes and pregnancy will be reviewed in relation to BMI, maternal age and the 'cut off' levels currently used in New Zealand. Is diabetes in pregnancy under-diagnosed by the NZ guidelines?
Participants are invited to bring their questions from practice.
