Biography
Lynn McBain is a Wellington GP practicing in Brooklyn Wellington since 1990.
She is a Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Medical Director in the Department of Primary Health Care and General Practice, University of Otago Wellington ( UOW). The main teaching responsibility is as convenor of both the 4th and 5th year undergraduate programs in General Practice at UOW. She also teaches a postgraduate paper on Mental Health and Illness in Primary Care.
She is a Director of Compass Health Wellington Trust and Chairs the Wellington region Community Radiology Oversight Committee and the Compass Health Clinical Quality Board. Particular interests include quality in medical practice and wise use of referred services.
