Norman Sharpe

Biography

Norman Sharpe ONZM FRSNZ is currently Medical Director of the National Heart Foundation of New Zealand and Professor Emeritus in the University of Auckland. He was formerly Head of the Department of Medicine and then Head of the School of Medicine in the University of Auckland and also inaugural Chair of the New Zealand Guidelines Group. He has broad research interests in preventive and clinical cardiology, clinical effectiveness and health care delivery.
